Visual Studio 2008 Kicks Off: Figure 2: Edit or Expand Autogenerated Stubs to Complete the Unit Test Regimen.
MSTest's code generation process adds <ClassInitialize()> <TestClass()>, <TestInitialize()>, <TestMethod()>, <TestCleanup()>, and <ClassCleanup()> attributes to identify MSTest classes and methods that perform the test suite. Autogenerated code creates an instance of each selected class and then invokes selected methods. Building and running the TestProject invokes Boolean Assert.TestType() methods that return True if the method passes the test, False otherwise. As the test executes, a line for the result of each test displays a green or red button. Full test conformance reports become available when the test completes.
