TeamCity 3.0, LEADTOOLS Version 15, and SmartZone SDK

TeamCity 3.0
JetBrains has released a new version of TeamCity 3.0, its teamwork product for continuous integration and build management that supports both Java and .NET platforms. TeamCity automates and coordinates collaborative processes to eliminate manual systems and delays. It provides tight integration with the most popular IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and Microsoft Visual Studio), version control systems, multiple build and test tools, real-time unit test reports, server-side inspections, and code coverage analysis. Two editions--Professional and Enterprise--are now available to meet the specific needs of smaller and larger teams and projects.
New features of the 3.0 release include per-project access rights with project roles; build statistics charts with declarative pluggable charts for user-defined metrics; pre-tested commit from Visual Studio for Subversion; StarTeam support; .NET Duplicates finder for catching similar code fragments of your C# and Visual Basic .NET code; Java Inspections and Duplicates for Maven2 projects; Version Control labeling for Subversion, CVS, Perforce, StarTeam, and ClearCase; "hanging" builds auto-detection and thread-dump capturing; and build tags for organizing and quickly filtering builds.

LEADTOOLS Version 15
LEAD Technologies has announced new enhancements and feature updates to its LEADTOOLS Version 15 collection of SDKs designed to help programmers integrate digital images into their applications. This release offers new AJAX-enabled controls that replace the existing LEADTOOLS Web Forms controls, a NEW COM wrapper for developers who aren't ready to move straight to the LEADTOOLS V15 .NET Class Library, support for JPEG 2000 Part 2 (JPX), improved documentation, new tutorials, and more.
This version also includes an updated DXF parser; updated algorithms for drawing objects and adding extrusion support; improved rendering of model and paper space; added entity block rendering, multi-line objects, multi-line text objects, end arrows, and width and bulge values for polyline objects; and enhanced performance for ellipse rotation, arc angles, hatches, splines, and attributes.

SmartZone SDK
Pegasus Imaging has added Intelligent CharÂacter Recognition (ICR) to the SmartZone software development kit (SDK). SmartZone ICR/OCR contains a new codebase offering improved handprint recognition results, faster speeds, and support for additional characters and symbols. The SmartZone ICR/OCR SDK provides zonal ICR (hand-printed) and zonal OCR (machine-printed) technology for use within either .NET or ActiveX COM dev environments. With this release, all components in the FormSuite product are now compatible with Visual Studio 2008.
The ICR technology in SmartZone recognizes hand-printed American and European English characters using pre-defined character sets: uppercase, lowercase, mixed-case, digits, currency, arithmetic, and punctuation characters. Users can tailor recognition results by specifying custom character sets containing only expected values.
This SDK is provided free to current FormSuite component customers (SmartZone customers may purchase the upgrade). Upgrade discounts are also offered to Pegasus Imaging's SmartScan Xpress ICR/OCR/OMR SDK customers.
