Progress Updates Telerik Tools for Xamarin UI Development

Progress has updated the Xamarin components found in its Telerik line of .NET-centric development tooling.

A new service pack release for Telerik UI for Xamarin R2 2019 features hardware acceleration for the PDF viewer and more, the company said last week.

The new RadPdfViwer that recently graduated from beta now features hardware acceleration and better scrolling performance, along with support for toolbox for Visual Studio 2019, enabling developers to use the latest IDE edition with the suite of tools.

The new functionality follows last month's release of Telerik UI for Xamarin R2 2019, which introduced a new Image Editor and Map controls, PdfViewer and Calendar improvements, PDF-processing capabilities, VS 2019 support and more.

More information on the service pack update can be found in the release notes. Pricing info is available here.
