Microsoft Corp. to give away Visual Studio 2005 and 2008, SQL Server 2005, Windows Server Standard and other software to college students worldwide.
A Microsoft spokesperson said today that Rob Short, corporate vice president of Windows Core Technology, left the Redmond, Wash.-based company last month.
Jeff Raikes will leave Microsoft next September after 28 years with the company.
