TABLE 1: Inside VB's Literal Type Characters.

You can specify the type of numeric constants by appending to the value the literal type character. This table lists the literal type characters for VB’s numeric types. The letters all come from the type, such as S for Short, with the exception of Single and Double which use the first letter of Float and Real respectively.
