Telerik Dev Tools Adds UI Components for .NET Coding
Progress announced a new release of Telerik UI components for Web, mobile and desktop development in the .NET ecosystem.
The company said more than 20 new offerings are included in the latest edition of its Telerik development tooling, including those targeting the cross-platform, open source "Core" edition of Microsoft's .NET implementation for Web development, ASP.NET Core.
That Web category features the most new components, including a MultiColumnComboBox component and new TreeList features for ASP.NET Core, the traditional ASP.NET MVC and other target platforms.
In addition to such UI components, new themes were introduced, inspired by the Material theme from Google (for ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core) and the Mac-inspired Crystal theme (for desktop).
Progress has also released a new Kendo UI version for JavaScript-based Web development, claiming it's the only such toolset to support Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 compliance, which defines how to make Web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.
