The Visual Studio Magazine 2023 Reader's Choice Awards Are Out
Visual Studio Magazine readers for the 29th year have identified their favorite development tools used in the Microsoft-centric developer space in the 2023 Reader's Choice Awards.
During these exciting times that herald the rise of AI-powered coding assistants, our readers once again shared the tools they find most helpful in their day-to-day coding.
Across a record 43 categories, more than 400 products were voted on, with the top three entrants in each category receiving Gold, Silver and Bronze badges, respectively.
Reader favorites span the gamut from full-fledged frameworks to individual components and suites in categories that cover the web, desktop, mobile, cloud and other development spaces. Within those categories, offerings ranged from security and collaboration to developer education and -- of course -- cutting-edge AI-related tooling.
We also asked a series of open-ended questions, touching on categories such as the most highly valued development tool, data-centric development tool, mobile dev solution and more.
Go here to access the 2023 Reader's Choice Awards, and see if your favorite products and services are on the list, as well as those you might want to try based on the votes of your peers. There's no better source of information about tool selection than the opinions of fellow developers working on the front lines.
