New Combit Reporting Tool Release Supports .NET 9
Combit today announced a new release of its reporting tool for software development that comes with support for the upcoming .NET 9.
The List & Label reporting tool by combit [it doesn't capitalize its name] allows developers to integrate advanced reporting, printing and exporting capabilities into their applications for web, cloud and desktop environments with minimal code.
The company on Oct. 18 released List & Label 30. The versioning is a coincidence because the company's 30th offering follows combit being a multiple winner in the 30th annual Visual Studio Magazine Reader's Choice Awards. A frequent winner in the three-decade series of surveys, the company this year took gold in the "Reporting, Analysis, and Visualization" category, and silver in the "Charts, Gauges, Graph, and Flow" category.

In addition to the support for .NET 9, which is debuting in a few weeks, other highlights of the release include a new drilldown feature in the Web Report Designer that lets users easily analyze complex data structures in their browser. With just one click, they can access detailed information without needing extra data queries, making data analysis simpler.

Another new feature allows fonts to be embedded in project files, ensuring correct display of CI-compliant fonts across all environments, including cloud and Docker, without needing extra configuration.
List & Label 30 also introduces time zone functionality for server-based reporting, allowing developers to set different time zones for clients and databases. This ensures accurate timestamps and data processing in global, distributed systems.
