Telerik Updates RadControls

Telerik launches updated version of RadControls, which supports Office SharePoint Server and DotNetNuke, among other platforms.

Component-maker Telerik Inc. last month launched an updated version of its RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and WinForms products. The Q1 2008 version of RadControls for ASP.NET adds support for Microsoft's ASP.NET AJAX framework, and provides more than 20 controls for ASP.NET 2.0/3.5 environments, according to a statement from the company. Telerik says the new controls provide improved performance, extended client-side capabilities and broader support for browsers, application platforms-including Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and DotNetNuke-and tooling such as Visual Studio 2008.

Also released in April was a new version of RadControls for WinForms, which boasts improved performance and new controls and components, including the RadCarousel navigation control and the RadForm component. Telerik also launched the new Telerik Reporting module, which the company says delivers a WYSIWYG interface with a "graph-paper-like design surface integrated in Visual Studio."

The suite of all three products costs $1,299 per developer seat and includes a support package.
