Expand Server Explorer's Tables node, select all tables, as shown here, and drag them to the O/R Designer's surface to generate a set of EntityType widgets with interconnecting lines that represent associations (relationships). A built-in function singularizes EntityType names automatically and properties appear in the same sequence as table fields. EntityType widgets display foreign key fields, such as Order.EmployeeID, but not the association endpoints they represent, such as Customer_Order or Order_Order_Detail.Speed O/R Mapping with LINQ to SQL: Figure 1: Drag Tables from Server Explorer.
