The next release of Visual Studio is nearly here, and it’s faster, leaner and more productive than ever. In this keynote, Microsoft Principal Lead Program Manager Tim Sneath explains how the Visual Studio team stripped Visual Studio down to the chassis, creating a streamlined, fast and lightweight core; then added back all the different tools and capabilities that make Visual Studio the class-leading developer environment for any language or framework. He also talks about how the team was able to add hundreds of productivity features and new capabilities based on developer feedback.
